    Description

    Collected in Spain 35years ago from a family who claimed that it had been carried in the Spanish Civil War. Unfortunately they had nothing but family oral history to back up the claim. They thought that the marks on the leather scabbard hanger, (see photo ) stood for God, D Battery which they interpret as God loves Battery D.
    A nice turned hardwood hilt with full tang. A steel guard above a waisted spear point blade with medial ridge. Both Dagger and Scabbard are in very good condition. Obviously a custom knife and scabbard.
