Vintage Restored Desmond Simplex No. 300 2.75" Bench Vise made in Urbana Ohio

Desmond Simplex No. 300 made in Urbana Ohio.
This vise has 2.75" wide jaws.  This is a perfect small jeweler's hobby vise.
Vise weighs 10 lbs, the jaws open to a max working width of 3.5"
The jaws have an agressive serration on them and close nice and smooth.
I painted this vise Ace brand Teal enamel 4 coats, paint pen for the lettering.
This vise was completely cleaned and restored inside and out as you can see.
There is no hole for a pritchel on the anvil but it appears a small shallow hole was drilled on top of one of the
jaws by a previous owner, perhaps for a small pritchel or cutting bit?
