Craftsman model 5170 3.5" wide jaws that open to 5" wide.
I personally restored and refurbished this vise.
The only thing I did not do on this vise was remove the removable jaws.  As you can see the original jaw screws were too mangled to remove and would have to be drilled out.  I did not want to take the risk at drilling them out and messing up the original threads inside the jaws.  This would mean having to make a new set of replacable jaws and drilling and tapping new threads on an already narrow surface area.
Everything else on this vise has been gone through, stripped down, polished, wire wheeled, acetoned, and custom painted.
Paint colors are Ace brand enamel teal and white.  4 coats each color.  Paint pen for the lettering and outlining.
Videos of how I strip the paint and rust off these vises.  I do the exact same steps for all my vises whether its these Craftsman or any other
type.  I wire wheel them even the screw threads.  I do my best to remove nearly all old paint and rust.  I wipe them down with acetone just before paint.

Not many survivors out there and currently the only restored Craftsman 5170 on eBay.  These were made in the early 1950s.
The jaws do have a chip on the lower bottom on the static and dynamic jaw.
This vise ships free!  You read that right folks. I'm not going to charge or like some other people out there looking to gouge you guys.  I'll pay every penny of shipping.  This vise will ship in a medium flat rate box or regional B box depending on buyer's location.  It will be well bubble wrapped with the base removed.  The swivel handle and bolts will be wrapped and placed in the box as well.
